Lane Cove Council is seeking a part-time Food Service Assistant to join the Early Education and Care Service in Lane Cove. You will share duties with a partner to prepare and serve meals during Monday–Wednesday, totaling 23 hours per week.

The role emphasizes hygiene, inventory, budget awareness, and meeting dietary and cultural needs while collaborating with parents, staff and suppliers. Hybrid options may be available for eligible roles.

Formación

• Must hold a Paid Worker - Working with Children Check clearance (NSW).
• Experience with kitchen inventory, storage, menu planning and ordering.
• Ability to plan nutritious meals including dietary and cultural needs.
• Ability to work in a team and meet service deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Council’s Early Education and Care Service with all necessary food provision and consumption services during work hours with your partner.
• Assist with inventory management and budgeting within kitchen operations.
