Job summary

St Joseph's Primary Jerilderie is seeking a dedicated school cleaner to support daily operations under the Principal and staff. The role emphasises teamwork, reliability and flexibility to meet the school’s cleaning needs during school terms and breaks.

Permanent part-time with a typical schedule of 8 hours per week; days to be negotiated. Benefits include health insurance discounts, salary packaging and access to support programs.

Qualifications

• Experience working in an educational setting is required.
• Must hold a current First Aid Certificate and CPR.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check is mandatory.
• Willingness to complete required online studies and an internal check.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, wipe down, wash, mop, empty rubbish and reline bins.
• Clean windows, defrost and clean fridges, wipe surfaces and benches.
• Areas to clean include staff room, classrooms, hallways, offices, storage and toilets.
• Inform Office staff when stock is low.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and comply with safety procedures.
