Job summary

Corrigin District High School is seeking a Cleaner for a 12-month fixed term, part-time (0.5 FTE) role commencing as soon as possible. The successful applicant will be responsible for a range of internal and external cleaning duties, including carpets, floors, toilets, furniture, fittings and windows, with vacation cleaning tasks such as vinyl floor stripping.

The role requires good interpersonal and communication skills, strong organisational ability, and the capacity to follow safety

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal and communication skills to follow instructions and work as a team.
• Highly organised and knowledgeable about using cleaning equipment; able to follow safety instructions and training guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain carpets and hard floor surfaces, clean toilets, furniture, fittings and windows.
• Perform vacation cleaning duties including stripping/sealing vinyl floors, shampooing carpets and pressure cleaning verandas.
