Job summary

Sydney Adventist School Auburn is seeking a part-time bus driver to join our team commencing late January 2027. The role involves safely transporting students to and from the school, as well as for sports and excursions.

You will hold a current LR licence (manual vehicle), have a good driving record, and be able to work 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon each school day, with additional hours for events.

Qualifications

• Hold a current LR licence to drive a manual vehicle.
• Clean driving record and good safety practices.
• Experience in a similar bus/driver role preferred.
• Be punctual and reliable.
• Willingness to obtain WWCC and First Aid Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school, as well as to sporting events and excursions.
• Adhere to road rules, student safety protocols and WH&S standards.
• Perform required safety checks on the bus and maintain basic vehicle upkeep.
• Collaborate with front office and Business Manager to support school operations.
• Maintain professional relationships with students, parents and staff.
