Job summary

Subway Yarrawonga is hiring several Sandwich Artist positions. We are looking for 5 new part-time team members, with shifts available in the morning and evening.

High school students are welcome to apply, and full training will be provided to develop skills in food preparation, retail and customer service. Previous experience is desirable but not essential; growth opportunities exist within the Subway Franchise.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation, retail sales or customer service is desirable but not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain food storage and preparation areas according to Health & Safety and Audit standards.
• Comply with Food Code of Practice.
• Operate till and handle payments.
• Monitor stock levels and restock as needed.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Follow security and safety procedures.
• Maintain a safe working environment for staff and customers.
• Present self professionally in Subway uniform.

Yarrawonga

• High school students (Year 10, 11 and 12) are welcome to apply.

Shifts Schedule:

• Morning staff
• Evening shift

Lots of room for growth and training provided.

Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales and/or customer service is desirable but not essential because you will receive full training and undertake various University of Subway® courses. What’s more important is a winning attitude. If you’re currently working in retail or in a restaurant, perhaps you are studying or have recently graduated and are looking to start a career in the food industry. This could be the perfect opportunity for you!

• Maintain high personal presentation in the provided uniform to meet the Subway® brand and customer expectations
• Work as a team member
• Deliver a high standard of service when dealing with products, sales and catering for customer needs.
