Job summary

Bundy Chop Shop in Bundaberg North, Queensland, is seeking a part-time Retail Assistant to support our store operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

As a Retail Assistant you will help customers, process transactions at the counter, stock shelves, maintain cleanliness and safety, handle deliveries, and contribute to sales targets. Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred; we value reliability, strong communication, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to operate POS systems.
• Physically capable of lifting and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product inquiries and recommendations.
• Process transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Stock shelves and display areas with clearly priced items.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization and safety standards.
• Receive and check incoming stock deliveries against documentation.
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally to resolution.
• Support team in achieving sales targets and promoting store initiatives.
• Comply with company policies and retail legislation.
