Job summary

Western Sydney University, Campbelltown NSW, is seeking a Research Project Coordinator to drive the Justice in Healthcare project across university, correctional health and Aboriginal community settings. The role coordinates governance, participant recruitment, surveys, audits, data management and reporting while supporting staff and partners to meet milestones.

Flexibility and 0.8 FTE part-time engagement at HEW Level 7 with active collaboration between university and community partners.

Qualifications

• A degree in health, public health, research or related discipline with extensive project coordination experience.
• Experience coordinating complex research projects across multiple settings and partners.
• Experience in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, research or community engagement; culturally appropriate approaches.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project delivery across university, prison and Aboriginal community settings.
• Establish research governance and data-management standards.
• Build relationships with investigators, participants, health services and partners.
• Deliver research documentation, databases, reports and funding materials.
• Support research staff and project partners to achieve milestones.
