Job summary

SA Health is seeking a registered midwife to join the Birthing and Assessment Unit at Lyell McEwin Hospital in Elizabeth Vale. This part-time, ongoing role focuses on woman-centred care across the full scope of birthing and assessment services.

You must be registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, with demonstrated intrapartum care expertise, CTG interpretation, and collaborative, reflective practice within a multidisciplinary team at a public

Qualifications

• Must be a registered or eligible Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Demonstrated intrapartum care experience and fetal surveillance.
• Ability to work in a culturally safe, woman-centred maternity setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based, woman-centred midwifery care in birthing and assessment services.
• Assess, plan and deliver midwifery care across a range of acuity levels.
• Collaborate with obstetric, neonatal and allied health teams to support safe care pathways.
• Contribute to quality improvement and reflective practice.
