Job summary

UniSC invites applications for a part-time, ongoing academic role in the School of Health, Sunshine Coast. You’ll support Occupational Therapy students to develop clinical skills, confidence and professional capability through teaching, simulated and external placements, and the development of a sustainable placement program.

Based at the UniSC Sunshine Coast campus (Sippy Downs) with possible travel, you’ll lead placement experiences, assess student learning and collaborate with healthcare

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD qualification in a relevant field, or equivalent accreditation and standing.
• Proven effectiveness as a teacher evidenced by student feedback and supervision of placements.
• Leadership in quality clinical education of undergraduate students.
• Strong partnerships with professional bodies and industry partners.
• Commitment to ongoing academic development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging clinical education across occupational therapy programs.
• Lead and support quality placement experiences (simulated, telehealth, internal and external).
• Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate to strengthen placement opportunities and learning pathways.
• Build relationships with healthcare providers, professional bodies, and industry partners.
• Contribute to governance and school initiatives.
• Integrate research-informed approaches into teaching.
