Job summary

UNIVERSITY OF THE SUNSHINE COAST - UNISC is seeking an experienced occupational therapy educator to support students across clinical teaching and placement experiences at the Sunshine Coast campus. The role focuses on developing learners' clinical skills, confidence and professional capability within simulated, telehealth, and real placements.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Masters or PhD qualification, or near-completion in a relevant field or equivalent accreditation and standing.
• Proven effectiveness as a teacher with evidence from student feedback and supervision.
• Demonstrated leadership of quality clinical education for undergraduates across placements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging clinical education and learning experiences across occupational therapy programs.
• Lead and support quality placement experiences, including simulated, telehealth, internal and external placements.
• Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback to support growth and readiness.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, community organisations and industry partners.
• Contribute to governance, school initiatives and activities that enhance student experience.
