Job summary

Amana Living is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant based in Osbourne Park, Western Australia. This permanent part-time role involves providing therapeutic group and individual programs under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

The role is 40 hours per fortnight, a structured schedule across two weeks, and requires active participation in compulsory training and meetings to support residents’ independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety principles in health/aged care.
• Ability to manage busy workloads and changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Supports the occupational therapist in implementing the treatment plan.
• Delivers therapeutic group activities and individual programs as directed.
• Participates in therapy meetings and coordinates activities for residents.
• Assists with therapy equipment management, cleaning and stock orders.
• Observes client responses and reports to the clinical team.
• Communicates effectively with the clinical team in writing and verbally.
• Works within your knowledge limits and refers concerns promptly.
