Job summary

TeamKids is seeking a Second in Charge (2IC) for our OSHC service in Toowoomba. This part-time leadership role supports high-quality care before and after school under the Director of Service, ensuring engaging experiences for children and strong partnerships with families.

You will lead activities within a safe, compliant framework, fostering teamwork and delivering memorable moments for primary-aged children.

Qualifications

• Diploma qualification as per ACECQA standards.
• Experience in Before/After School Care preferred but not essential.
• National Child Safety Training required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the school community, attending events and assemblies.
• Assist with creating and implementing enriching experiences for children.
• Foster genuine relationships with children and families.
• Play with primary school children and ensure safety and fun.
• Support program compliance with industry regulations.
