Job summary

TeamKids is a leading OSHC provider in Australia, seeking a part-time 2IC to lead and support high-quality child care programs in Toowoomba. You’ll work with the Director of Service to ensure thriving learning experiences for children before school, after school and during holidays.

Ideal candidates have Diploma level qualifications (or working towards) and a passion for leadership in a child-focused setting. Mandatory safety training and regular events help shape a dynamic, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in before/after school care or education is ideal but training is provided.
• Strong communication with children, families and staff.
• Ability to lead and collaborate in a fast-paced service.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the school community, attending events and assemblies.
• Assist with creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on children's interests.
• Foster genuine relationships with children and their families.
• Lead activities and supervise diverse age groups with energy and fun.
• Ensure program compliance with industry regulations.
