Job summary

Bent Metal in South Melbourne, VIC invites a skilled metalworker to join our artist blacksmith studio on a part-time basis. The role includes forging, MIG/TIG welding, and general fabrication, with responsibilities spanning workshop fabrication and occasional site installs around Melbourne.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of metalwork experience, be able to read drawings, hold a valid driver’s licence, and be comfortable with hot work and safety practices. White card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Forge and perform hand work at the forge.
• MIG/TIG welding and general fabrication.

• Finish and prepare work for galvanising and paint, keep workshop tidy.
