Job summary

The Sydney Clinic in Bronte, Sydney’s eastern suburbs, is seeking a Part-Time Social Worker for maternity leave cover. The role offers flexible days and times across 15.2 hours per week in a supportive multidisciplinary team focused on evidence-based practice.

You’ll work independently with patients and alongside psychiatrists, providing a range of psychotherapeutic groups and activities, including DBT, CBT and psychoeducation.

Qualifications

• Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Social Work.
• Eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
• Ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Working independently with the patients and as a multidisciplinary team member of mental health professionals; liaise with the treating psychiatrist.
• Offer a broad range of psychotherapeutic groups and activities (e.g., DBT, psychosocial rehab, CBT, psychoeducation).
• Contribute to a compassionate, patient-centred care approach in a busy clinic.
