Job summary

Accor is seeking a dedicated part-time doorman/porter to welcome Qantas International Lounge guests in Adelaide. You will greet guests, manage access, assist with luggage, and maintain a safe, pleasant environment while upholding grooming and service standards.

The role requires customer service experience, strong communication, the ability to stay calm under pressure, and flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. A Federal Police clearance is required for secure areas.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in fast-paced settings.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Impeccable grooming and professional appearance.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Physical ability to stand long periods and lift heavy objects.
• Eligible for Federal Police clearance to work in restricted airport areas.
• Flexible to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests on arrival and departure.
• Verify boarding passes and lounge access.
• Assist with luggage handling.
• Ensure appropriate dress code in lounges.
• Coordinate with other departments and VIPs.
• Explain facilities and flight information.
• Support Qantas Hosts/F&B when needed.
• Maintain grooming, conduct standards.
• Monitor foyer and curbside cleanliness; keep premium check-in area presentable.
• Attend staff meetings and training.
• Meet and greet at kerbside and assist with luggage to check-in suite.
