Vets Central Pty in Port Stephens, NSW, Australia, is seeking a Part-Time Lead Veterinarian for a 7-month fixed-term maternity leave cover starting December 2026. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent recognised in Australia.
• At least 3+ years of experience.
• Confidence in soft tissue surgery.
• Experience mentoring veterinarians in a supportive practice is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day clinical guidance and support to the veterinary team.
• Step in to cover superintendent duties as Lead Vet.
• Involved in a varied caseload of consultations and surgery.
