Job summary

Orbost Regional Health is seeking an Infection Prevention and Control Consultant (IPCC) to promote, implement and evaluate infection prevention and control services. The role reports to VICNISS and focuses on reducing infections within the health service and community.

Applicants must be an RN registered with AHPRA and hold a Graduate Certificate or Diploma in Infection Control. The position is 32 hours per fortnight (0.4 EFT) and based at Orbost Regional Health.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Graduate Certificate or Diploma in Infection Control.

Responsibilities

• Promote, implement and evaluate infection prevention and control services for Orbost Regional Health based on national and state standards and regulations.
• Assist with good human resource management and reporting to VICNISS when required.
