Y Community School in Epping, Victoria, is opening a brand-new junior campus for years 7–9 in January 2027. We’re seeking a Health and Physical Education Teacher to join the new team, delivering PE two days a week and helping launch the campus with an engaging curriculum.

The role is part-time (0.4 FTE) ongoing, with flexible days. The successful candidate will bring a tertiary PE qualification, Victorian Institute of Teaching registration, and a commitment to wellbeing, Mind Body Spirit

Qualifications

• Strong classroom management and communication skills are essential.
• Experience with trauma-informed practice is valued.
• Ability to plan, deliver and assess programs aligned to the Victorian Curriculum.
• Experience teaching or coaching young people in school or sporting settings.
• Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) is required.

Responsabilités

• Deliver curriculum-aligned HPE lessons to years 7–9 at the new junior campus.
• Bring Mind Body Spirit program to life within the Victorian Curriculum.
• Support student wellbeing and healthy lifestyle habits.
• Collaborate with a growing teaching team and contribute to program development.
