People Who Care is a not-for-profit organisation delivering home care services to older people and those with disabilities. The role provides personalised support in a community setting, with a focus on maintaining independence at home under a friendly team.

The part-time position runs Monday to Friday 9.00am–2.00pm in Perth South-East Metro. Hourly rates are $34.42 for Level 2 and $36.23 for Level 3, with salary packaging options and superannuation available.

Qualificações

• Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support or equivalent.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
• Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current driver's license and reliable car.
• Current national police check (not older than 6 months).
• Prior experience in community/home care or Disability/Residential care desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Meal assistance, including shopping and meal preparation.
• Transport and accompaniment, including shopping trips and appointments.
• Social support, including outings and social activities.
• Personal care, including grooming, hygiene, bathing and dressing assistance.
• Support for health conditions, including skin care, medication reminders and diabetes management.
• Assistance with mobility.
• Domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry.
