Jobwire in Australia is seeking a Forklift Operator / Pick Packer for a Tue–Thu 9:00–5:00 shift in Arndell Park. The role involves operating high reach and counterbalance forklifts, picking and packing in a chilled/frozen warehouse, and basic computer tasks in a cold environment.

You must hold a current forklift licence with high reach and counterbalance experience, be comfortable in 5°C, and able to stay an extra hour if required. English communication should be strong.

Qualifications

Forklift Operator / Pick Packer | HR and CB | Tue–Thu | 9am–5pm | $37 per hour | Arndell Park

We are hiring a forklift operator who can also pick and pack for our client. The site is a chilled and frozen warehouse. Product is stored and picked in cold rooms, so you need to be comfortable working in the cold only 5c.

You must have high reach and counterbalance experience. You will move stock on both, then pick and pack orders and use a computer. This is not forklift only. You also need to be fine staying an extra hour when the work runs over.

Hours

• Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday


• 9:00am–5:00pm


• Extra hour when required

What you will do

• Operate high reach and counterbalance forklifts to load, unload and move stock

About you

• Current forklift licence


• High reach and counterbalance experience, both required


• Pick and pack experience, ideally in chilled or frozen


• Comfortable using a computer


• Comfortable working in the cold


• Reliable, and available Tuesday to Thursday, including an extra hour if needed


• Strong spoken English
