Job summary

Toowoomba Regional Council – Highfields QLD is seeking a Venue Attendant to support events at the Highfields Cultural Centre. This part-time, temporary role requires you to help set up, run and tidy venues with a strong focus on customer service.

You will work Thursday and Friday each week, with 15.2 hours weekly. Candidates should have Certificate III in Hospitality or relevant experience, a Blue Card, and an RSA, and be prepared for a pre-employment check.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Hospitality or other relevant field and/or experience enabling all duties.
• Possession of current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or ability to obtain prior to commencement.
• RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate or willingness to obtain within 30 days of commencement.
• A current C Class Driver’s Licence is desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills and a focus on teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest level of customer service in setting up, running and cleaning up events.
• Work under general instruction to support venue operations.
• Assist with preparation and breakdown of events at Toowoomba Region Community Venues.
