Job summary

Barwon Health in Victoria is seeking an Educational and Developmental Clinical Psychologist to provide comprehensive developmental and diagnostic assessments for preschool-aged children facing developmental, behavioural, educational, social or environmental challenges.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, using evidence-based tools, clinical observation and family consultation to support diagnostic formulation and provide high-quality reports.

Qualifications

• Registered psychologist with AHPRA in Clinical Psychology.
• Experience with preschool-aged developmental/educational assessments.
• Ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and model evidence-based, multidisciplinary assessment, care planning, treatment and review.
• Independently manage a clinical caseload and deliver consumer-centred care.
• Support junior staff and students through supervision and mentoring.
• Contribute to research, quality improvement and innovation while maintaining standards.
