Job summary

National Dental Care seeks a Dentist to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care in line with Australian standards. The role is initially two days per week (Wednesdays and Thursdays) with potential to grow, contributing to both clinical and commercial success of the practice.

The ideal candidate has current AHPRA registration, strong general dentistry skills, and interest in areas such as Invisalign, cosmetic or implant dentistry.

Qualifications

• Current (or eligible) AHPRA registration as a Dentist.
• Demonstrated experience as a practising Dentist, with strong capability across general dentistry.
• Experience or interest in Invisalign/clear aligners, cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, paediatric dentistry, sedation dentistry or other recognised special interest areas.
• Role to be part-time with two days (Wednesdays and Thursdays) initially, with room to grow.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive dental examinations, diagnose oral health conditions and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide a wide range of dental procedures within scope of practice and in accordance with Dental Board of Australia requirements.
• Educate, inform and engage patients to support understanding of treatment options and preventive oral health care.
• Refer patients to specialist clinicians where clinically appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, timely and compliant clinical records and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with dental assistants, reception teams and practice leadership to ensure seamless patient care.
• Contribute to practice efficiency, patient experience and the delivery of safe, high-quality clinical services.
