Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms: set up instruments, materials and equipment before appointments.
• Assist during procedures: pass instruments, operate suction, support four- or six-handed dentistry.
• Care for patients: welcome, seat, review health histories and explain procedures.
• Take radiographs: operate and process X-ray equipment where licensed.
• Sterilization and infection control: decontaminate rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Administrative tasks: manage bookings, greet visitors, and handle billing or insurance payments.
• Handle records: update patient charts and manage inventory of clinic supplies.
