Job summary

Newcastle Dental Care is looking for a friendly Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our busy practice in Newcastle CBD. This casual role offers exposure to a wide range of dental procedures and the opportunity to work across both front desk and chairside support.

You will provide patient-focused care, assist with everyday administrative tasks, and rotate between reception and assisting as the roster requires, with daytime hours Monday to Friday and occasional late shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in dental care or customer service is beneficial.
• Ability to provide high-quality patient interactions and care.
• Flexible to work casual hours including some evenings.

Job description

An opportunity has arisen for a Dental Assistant/Receptionist at a busy, modern dental practice located in Newcastle CBD. The practice performs a wide array of dental procedures from implant surgery, x-rays, same day crowns and orthodontics to general family dentistry. This is a dual role where the successful candidate can be rostered between both reception and assisting.

• Flexible to accommodate clinic hours: Monday-Friday with late nights on Monday & Tuesdays until 6:30pm and early mornings starting from 7:30am on Friday

This starts as a casual position. The successful applicant may be rostered between both assisting and reception.
