Job summary

High Street Dental Practice in Kangaroo Flat, Bendigo, is seeking a reliable Dental Assistant or Trainee for a part-time role. The position offers on-the-job training, a friendly team, and opportunities to develop a career in dentistry.

Previous dental experience is welcome but not essential; training can be provided. Availability is rostered between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm on working days, with a supportive environment and opportunities to grow within the practice.

Responsibilities

• Assisting dentists during a wide range of dental procedures.
• Preparing treatment rooms, instruments and materials.
• Cleaning, sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment.
• Following infection control and sterilisation procedures carefully.
• Welcoming patients and helping them feel comfortable throughout their visit.
• Maintaining clean, organised treatment rooms and clinical areas.
• Assisting with stock and inventory.
• Helping with reception and administrative duties when required.
• Undertaking on-the-job training and developing your dental assisting skills.
