Job summary

Bupa Dental in Canberra, ACT is seeking a Part-Time Dental Assistant to support the delivery of safe clinical care and maintain treatment rooms. The role includes chair-side assistance, instrument handling, and infection control to ensure high-quality patient care.

Hours are 15.5 per week (Wednesday and Thursday, 8:30am–5:15pm) with a focus on efficient appointment management and team collaboration. Certificate III/IV in Dental Assisting is highly regarded, and the clinic is conveniently located

Qualifications

• Experience providing chair-side assistance for dental treatments.
• Knowledge of infection control standards and sterilisation procedures.
• Ability to manage appointment schedules, cancellations and confirmations.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of safe clinical care and dental procedures.
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and instruments per infection control standards.
• Assist dental professionals with x-ray procedures and instruments.
