Job summary

Amana Living is seeking a part-time Bus Driver to provide safe transport for clients and carers from Perth CBD and surrounding suburbs. The role runs Monday to Wednesday, 8.30am–4.30pm, totaling 45.6 hours per fortnight.

You will follow safety policies, assist clients, and support team activities. Ideal candidates have experience with vulnerable people, Dementia awareness, and hold a Senior First Aid and CPR certificate, with the ability to obtain necessary clearances.

Qualifications

• Experience with vulnerable people including dementia
• Ability to obtain National Police Clearance/NDIS clearance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Time management and organisational skills
• Proven ability to follow safety policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Drive Amana Living clients and staff safely
• Ensure client safety and comfort during outings
• Secure mobility equipment and seat belts
• Maintain bus cleanliness and perform vehicle checks
• Plan efficient routes and manage traffic/parking constraints
• Collaborate with team and participate in training sessions
