Job summary

Dubbo Regional Council is seeking a part-time Cleaner in the Building Assets department to maintain cleanliness and safety across council buildings in Dubbo and Wellington. The role supports delivery of professional facilities for staff, visitors and the community, with a pro rata annual salary and superannuation.

The position requires flexibility in hours, attention to detail, and a commitment to high standards of presentation and safety across a range of assets.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
• Physical fitness to undertake cleaning duties, including manual handling tasks.
• Flexibility to work varying hours aligned to business demands.
• A friendly, reliable approach and willingness to contribute to the team.
• Experience delivering cleaning services, particularly in large commercial buildings or public space.
• Experience using cleaning equipment and maintaining facilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across Dubbo Regional Council Buildings and Assets.
• Prepare and present buildings so they are safe, clean and ready for daily operations.
• Work independently and as part of a small, supportive team to deliver consistent results.
