Job summary

KU Kahibah Road Child Care is seeking a dedicated Child Care Educator (Cert III) to join a long‑standing, supportive team in Newcastle. The service emphasises relationships with children and families, ongoing professional development, and a positive, inclusive culture.

You will work Wednesday to Friday, 8 hours per day, starting mid‑January 2027 on a permanent, part‑time basis. The role requires NSW WWCC, ACECQA‑recognised Cert III, and EYLF knowledge.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Working with Children Check required.
• ACECQA recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• National Child Safety Training Certificate required.
• Training in CHCPRT025 Child Protection and understanding of related legislation.
• Working knowledge of EYLF.
• Knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with children and families and contribute to a caring team.
• Continue developing professional skills within a passionate and dedicated team.
• Work Wednesdays to Fridays, 8 hours per day, from mid-January 2027, on a permanent, part-time basis.
