Job summary

St Nicholas Early Education is seeking a Child Care Cook for a permanent part-time role at our Chisholm NSW service. You will plan and prepare meals that meet nutritional needs and cultural considerations for children, while ensuring safe and compliant food handling.

Work Fridays for 8 hours in a supportive team environment, collaborating with Centre Director and Educational Team to deliver healthy, varied menus aligned with health regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience with food preparation and orders.
• Basic computer literacy is required.
• Experience working with children is desirable.
• Knowledge of National Quality Framework (NQF).
• Familiarity with Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• Workplace Health and Safety issues are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide a balanced varied diet for children.
• Collaborate with Centre Director and Educational Team on meals and nutritional requirements.
• Ensure food storage and preparation meet health regulations at all times.
