Job summary

seek.com.au is seeking a part-time Bookkeeper to manage financial records, payroll support, and general admin across multiple sites on the Sunshine Coast. You will ensure accuracy from entry to trial balance and report numbers to Owners.

The role involves 2-3 days per week, with flexibility on days. Ideal for an organised, independent worker in a family-owned hospitality/retail business.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Experience bookkeeping for a multi-site retail, hospitality, or food business.
• Fluent in Xero.
• Meticulous, organised and detail oriented.
• Comfortable working independently and asking questions when unsure.

Responsibilities

• Accounts payable and receivable - invoices processed, paid, and reconciled on time.
• Bank and credit card reconciliations across multiple sites and accounts.
• Payroll processing support - timesheets, pay runs, and superannuation processed accurately.
• BAS and GST preparation, ready for lodgement.
• Expense coding by site and cost centre.
• Petty cash and till reconciliation across sites.
• Xero data integrity - chart of accounts kept clean and consistent across every site.
• General office admin - supplier record-keeping, contract and insurance admin, new-starter paperwork, and ordering site supplies.
