Job summary

JP Family Group, a private family office based in Indooroopilly, seeks a part-time bookkeeper or junior accountant to manage day-to-day financial tasks and support external accountants. The role offers flexibility (20–25 hours) with potential progression to full-time as the business grows.

You will handle bookkeeping, payroll assistance, month-end duties, and basic financial reporting while maintaining discretion and accuracy in a small team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in bookkeeping and administration
• Proficiency with MYOB essential
• Strong organisational and detail orientation
• Ability to work autonomously and in a small team

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process payments
• Assist with payroll processing
• Support the financial management of the group
• Complete month-end processing and reconciliations
• Assist with financial reports and taxation lodgements
• Maintain the fixed asset register
• Support taxation and compliance matters
• Contribute to process improvements
