Kelly+Partners Bendigo is seeking a part-time Bookkeeper to support a growing client portfolio. You will handle day-to-day accounting, payroll, BAS lodgements and year-end reporting in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in bookkeeping, accounts or similar role.
• Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting preferred.
• Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks or Reckon.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of bookkeeping clients, providing day-to-day accounting and payroll support.
• Prepare and lodge BAS and other statutory returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Process payroll for a variety of clients, including payroll tax obligations and reporting requirements.
• Prepare end-of-year Single Touch Payroll lodgements.
• Complete bookkeeping duties including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and data processing.
• Generate monthly and quarterly reports using accounting software.
• Work closely with Client Directors, Managers and the broader team to support client outcomes.
• Participate in training sessions, team meetings and company events.
