Job summary

Peace Lutheran College in Cairns invites applications for Part-time Boarding Supervisors to support students in the Girls and Boys Boarding Houses. The fixed-term role runs until 4 December 2026, with potential for extension and includes weekday, weekend and sleepover shifts.

You will help create a safe, supportive environment, supervise students, assist with homework, encourage positive behaviour and wellbeing, and collaborate with staff while upholding the college's Christian ethos.

Qualifications

• A current Blue Card or the ability to obtain one before commencement.
• A current driver’s licence.
• Understanding of child protection policies and procedures.
• Experience working with adolescents, preferably in a boarding, residential or similar setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• The ability to guide, motivate and support young people.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A collaborative approach and a positive, professional manner.
