Job summary

L’Occitane en Provence is looking for a part-time Beauty Consultant in Melbourne to partner with the Boutique Manager and team. Drive growth through personalised consultations, guest experiences, and boutique events while promoting sustainability and heritage.

The role focuses on elevating skincare performance, becoming a product expert, and delivering exceptional service with Mandarin-speaking support being highly desirable. 30 hours per week.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years retail or beauty therapy experience.
• Team player, professional and results driven.
• Demonstration or experience with skincare consultations preferred.
• Mandarin-speaking skills are highly desirable to support Chinese-speaking customers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest experience: warm welcome, personalised beauty advice, and signature moments like hand massages and facials.
• Develop and share expertise in L'Occitane products, heritage, ingredients and sustainability values.
• Execute visual merchandising, manage stock, and maintain pristine boutique spaces following company standards.
• Meet targets through expert product demonstrations and tailored experiences.
• Master POS and clientele systems while representing the brand at events.
• Collaborate effectively, build trust through open communication and knowledge sharing.

About the role:

In this dynamic role, you’ll work closely with the Boutique Manager and team to elevate our skincare range.

Your primary focus will be driving growth through personalised consultations, tailored guest experiences, and engaging in boutique events. Your expertise will be key in increasing and maintaining the boutique’s skincare performance.

This is a part time position working 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional guest experience: welcome every guest warmly, provide personalised beauty advice, and deliver precious signature moments like hand massages, beauty consultations and facials.
• Develop and share expertise in L'Occitane products, heritage, ingredients and sustainability values.
• Execute visual merchandising, manage stock, and maintain pristine boutique spaces following company standards.

About you:

• You have at least 2 years retail or beauty therapy experience.
• You are a team player, professional and results driven.
• Demonstration of practical ability of skincare demonstrations/consultations (comfortable touching a client’s skin)
• Mandarin-speaking skills are highly desirable to support our Chinese-speaking customers.
