Job summary

Hotel Indigo Melbourne Little Collins and Holiday Inn Melbourne Bourke Street Mall are seeking a part-time Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team. You will greet guests, take orders and help create memorable dining experiences in a busy hotel environment.

You will hold Victorian RSA and Food Safety Certificates, demonstrate excellent communication, and work across a 7-day roster with mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for food and sharing culinary stories with guests.
• Valid Victorian RSA and Food Safety Certificate, as required by local law.
• Excellent Communication skills – guests will come to you with concerns and compliments.
• Problem-solving skills to turn issues into opportunities, leaving guests with great memories.
• Ongoing availability to work rostered across 7 days a week including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Must have a right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Creating a warm welcome to everyone and setting the tone for each guest’s experience.
• Prepare and serve food & drinks to high standards, and highlight promotions to guests.
• Work with your colleagues to offer a seamless food service.
• Set up and pack down of the venue/outlet as required.
• Set up your work station – stock up on supplies, manage inventory, ensure equipment works.
• Ensure all food and beverage facilities and equipment are cleaned, vacuumed, and stocked according to business volume.
• Handle credit card and financial transactions securely, in compliance
