Job summary

Commonwealth Bank in Mildura is seeking a part-time Branch Concierge to join our branch hub for 25 hours per week with fixed rosters. You will greet customers, understand their needs, and guide them to the right products and services to meet their financial goals.

You’ll support digital banking adoption, process transactions and loan/card applications, and collaborate with the Branch Manager to deliver exceptional service while upholding safety and compliance.

• Comfortable working independently within a busy retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Build a personal connection with customers through meaningful conversations.
• Help customers use in-branch technology and digital banking options.
• Ask about and respond to customers’ transactional needs in the branch, ensuring they leave satisfied.
• Complete Financial Health Checks to assess customers’ financial needs and changes.
• Process applications for personal loans, credit cards and related products.
• Proactively call customers to invite them to the branch for a Financial Health Check or appointment with a specialist.
• Adhere to the Bank’s processes and reconcile transactions and reviews of financial positions.
• Engage with customers by participating in community events and fundraising activities.
• Look out for the safety and wellbeing of your team.
• Capture customer feedback using tools and drive improvements.
