Job summary

Kindy Patch Medowie Centre, part of G8 Education Limited, is seeking an Assistant Educator to join a supportive team dedicated to delivering high-quality early childhood education. You will work alongside qualified educators to nurture and develop young children in a stimulating environment.

The role requires Certificate 3 or Diploma in Children's Services, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for early childhood development.

Qualifications

• ACEQCA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma in Children’s Services.
• Understanding of EYLF and NQS.
• Experience as an Educator in early childhood (0–5 years).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working with Children Check valid.
• First Aid certificate.

Responsibilities

• Support lead educators in daily routines and learning activities.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, engaging learning environment for children 0–5 years.
• Contribute to planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and routines.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 76 children with operating hours from 7:00am to 6pm.

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
