Job summary

Cater Care is seeking two Catering Assistants / Kitchen Hands to join our team at ThomasHolt, Kirrawee Aged Care in NSW. Shifts are 3:00 pm–7:00 pm, Monday to Sunday, offering part-time hours and a supportive team environment.

You will wash kitchenware, clean and sanitize prep and service areas, maintain hygiene, and support daily kitchen operations. Experience in kitchens or retirement living is preferred; vaccination and screening requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchens or retirement living is desirable.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Good personal hygiene and appearance.
• Willingness to follow safety and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Wash kitchenware using commercial dishwashers or manual methods.
• Clean and sanitize food prep areas, benchtops, and cooking equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety across kitchen and service floors.
• Dispose of waste and recycling, ensuring hazard-free work zones.
• Be a proactive, flexible team player.
