Job summary

IRT Woodlands in Meridan Plains QLD is seeking caring aged care employees to join our team. You’ll support residents with personal care, mobility, mealtime assistance and social engagement, working closely with nurses to deliver safe, respectful care in a welcoming home-like setting.

Roles are part-time with rotating rosters, including weekends and public holidays. You’ll need a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or be studying toward it, plus strong communication and a genuine

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent.
• Experience in aged care is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and genuine passion for supporting older people.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting) with dignity and respect.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and repositioning.
• Provide mealtime assistance and support nutrition and hydration.
• Engage residents through conversation and activities to promote social engagement.
• Monitor wellbeing and promptly report changes to nursing staff.
• Complete care records accurately and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team to deliver safe, connected support.
