Job summary

IRT Aged care centre, Woodlands in Meridan Plains, QLD, is expanding with casual Hospitality Employees / Food services assistants to help create a welcoming environment for residents.

You will assist with meals, dining service, laundry, and general duties, adhere to food safety guidelines, and support resident wellbeing. Pre-employment checks apply; experience in health or aged care and Food Safety Certification are desirable.

Qualifications

• Availability to work on any day throughout the week (casual shifts).
• Experience delivering hospitality or laundry services (desirable).
• Food Safety Supervision Certification (desirable).
• Experience in a health or aged care setting (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent hospitality services and ensure meals are served with care.
• Maintain cleanliness in dining areas and support residents' wellbeing.
• Assist with basic meal preparation in coordination with catering staff.
• Deliver and serve meals to residents and assist with dining service.
• Perform general laundry duties including personal laundry.
• Adhere to strict food safety guidelines and assist with domestic chores.
