Job summary

Elderly Care is seeking an experienced Personal Care Worker to join our Bundaberg team on a part-time basis. You will provide high-quality care to our elderly residents with compassion and professionalism.

Key responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health and wellbeing, and engaging residents in social and therapeutic activities while maintaining a safe environment. You should hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent, demonstrate

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent
• Experience in person-centred care for elderly residents
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Caring, compassionate and empathetic nature
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Commitment to safety and quality standards
• Police Clearance Certificate as per Aged Care Act 1997

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
• Monitoring and recording residents’ health, dietary and personal care needs
• Engaging residents in social, recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance their wellbeing
• Maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable living environment for residents
• Communicating effectively with residents, families and the care team
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and quality standards
