The Nanny Collective is helping a North Shore family in Sydney, NSW, Australia find an experienced nanny to care for two young children on a permanent, long-term basis. The role focuses on nurturing care, development activities and consistent routines, with light household tasks related to the children.
Day-to-day duties include meals, naps, play, outings and bedtime routines. Ideal candidates are warm, reliable and proactive, with references, first aid and working-with-children checks.
Our warm and welcoming North Shore family is seeking an experienced, nurturing and reliable nanny to care for their two young children on a permanent, long-term basis.
Both parents have busy professional careers but are very involved in their children's lives and hope to welcome someone who will become a trusted and valued part of their family.
Their three-year-old son is a caring, sensitive and inquisitive little boy who loves exploring the world around him, while his one-year-old sister is a happy, smiley and increasingly independent little girl with a cheeky personality. The family values a loving and engaging environment that encourages learning, development and age-appropriate boundaries.
This is a childcare-focused role, with light household duties related to the children. The family has separate cleaning arrangements.
Wednesday afternoons will involve daycare pick-ups, engaging in play, preparing dinner, bath time and managing the children's bedtime routines. Thursday and Friday will involve assisting with morning routines, preschool drop-offs and providing one-on-one care for the youngest throughout the day, including meals, naps, developmental activities and outings. Afternoons will include preschool pick-ups and caring for both children through their evening routines.
During preschool holidays, the nanny will care for both children across the two full days, planning fun and engaging activities, including park visits, outings and creative play.
The ideal nanny will be warm, affectionate, highly reliable and confident caring for two young children. Someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys preparing nutritious meals, encouraging developmental learning and maintaining consistent routines and gentle boundaries would be a wonderful fit.
Above all, the family is looking for someone who communicates openly, takes initiative and genuinely enjoys building meaningful relationships with children. This is a lovely opportunity for a dedicated nanny seeking a stable, long-term position with a family who truly values the important role their nanny plays in their children's lives.
