Local Workforce Hire is seeking reliable General Labourers or Trade Assistants for ongoing casual work across NSW. Earn $35.11 per hour with 11.5% super and a $22 daily travel allowance, with weekly pay and immediate start.

Opportunities exist to move into permanent roles as you prove yourself on site within construction, landscaping, manufacturing and industrial settings. A strong work ethic and safety focus are essential for ongoing assignments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a trade assistant.
• Construction White Card is required.
• A current driver's licence with reliable transport preferred.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different, with opportunities to work across a variety of industries including:

• Commercial and residential landscaping
• Residential and commercial construction
• Warehouse fit-outs and pallet racking installations
• Shopfitting and carpentry projects
• Demolition and strip-out work
• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites
• Site clean-ups and final cleans

Typical tasks include:

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required

What We’re Looking For

To join our team you must have:

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant
• Construction White Card
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred)
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliability and punctuality

PPE Requirements

You must supply your own PPE, including:

• Steel-capped boots
• Safety glasses
• High-visibility clothing
