Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking General Labourers and Casual Trade Assistants to join our team for ongoing casual work across construction, landscaping and industrial sites in the region. Earn competitive pay with weekly wages and travel allowance, with potential for permanent positions.

Successful applicants will have at least 12 months' general labour experience, a Construction White Card, a valid driver's licence and reliable transport, plus a strong work ethic and reliability.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different, with opportunities to work across a variety of industries including:

• Commercial and residential landscaping
• Residential and commercial construction
• Warehouse fit-outs and pallet racking installations
• Shopfitting and carpentry projects
• Demolition and strip-out work
• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites
• Site clean-ups and final cleans

Typical tasks include:

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required

What We're Looking For

To join our team you must have:

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant

PPE Requirements

You must supply your own PPE, including:

• Steel-capped boots
• Safety glasses
