Job summary

Solutions+ is seeking a garden maintenance worker to care for lawns, ovals and open green spaces with routine mowing, edging and pruning across local parks. You will also weed beds, help with irrigation and assist with site improvements as needed.

You can work 3 to 5 days per week with weekly pay, and there is a likelihood of transitioning to full-time permanent work as you grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Driver's licence and transport are required.
• National Police Check and Working with Children Check are required.

Responsibilities

• Mow, edge and maintain lawns, ovals and open green spaces to a high standard.
• Weed, mulch and maintain garden beds and landscaped areas.
• Prune shrubs, hedges and small trees to keep gardens neat.
• Safely operate mowers, brush cutters, blowers, and other gardening equipment.
• Assist with general grounds maintenance and seasonal planting.
• Assist with fertilising and basic weed and pest control treatments.
• Monitor turf and gardens, reporting issues or maintenance needs.
• Carry out basic irrigation checks and assist with minor repairs.
