Job summary

Garden Manicure in Burwood is seeking a 1st year Parks and Gardens apprentice to join a small gardening team. You will be supported by experienced staff and work on planting, mowing, mulching, weeding, hedge trimming, edging, turf maintenance and tree maintenance.

The role requires a current driver's license and a willingness to commence a Certificate III in Parks and Gardens immediately; prior outdoor tool experience is advantageous and knowledge of plants, herbicides and pesticides is helpful.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, keen and self-motivated with a passion for gardens.
• Current driver's license is essential.
• Previous experience with outdoor tools and machinery will be an advantage.
• An understanding of plants, herbicides and pesticides will be preferred.
• Red Card and First Aid Certificate is an advantage but not essential.
• You will be expected to commence a Certificate III in Parks and Gardens immediately.
