Job summary

Zoom Recruitment is recruiting Parcel Sorters / Freight Handlers for busy logistics sites in Botany and Alexandria during the upcoming peak period. You will work day, afternoon or night shifts, performing RF scanning, sorting parcels and freight, loading and unloading, and general warehouse tasks.

Reliable, physically fit candidates with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply; drug and alcohol testing and a current Police Check are required.

Peak Season Casual Roles | Day, Afternoon & Night Shifts

We are currently recruiting Parcel Sorters / Freight Handlers for busy logistics sites based in Botany and Alexandria.

With the upcoming peak period approaching, we are looking for reliable candidates to join the team across day, afternoon and night shifts.

Pay rates range from $35-$43 per hour depending on shift start time.

The Role

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Sorting parcels and freight
• RF scanning
• Loading and unloading containers and trailers
• Manual handling and repetitive lifting
• Sorting freight into the correct areas for dispatch
• General warehouse duties
• Working in a busy, fast-paced environment

What We're Looking For

• Reliable and available throughout the peak period
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good attitude and willingness to learn
• Previous warehouse or freight handling experience is a bonus, but not essential
• Willing to complete drug and alcohol testing
• Current Police Check issued within the last 6 months, or willing to obtain one
• Able to work in Botany and/or Alexandria

Shifts

There will be multiple opportunities available throughout the peak period across:

• Day Shift
• Afternoon Shift
• Night Shift

Shift times will vary depending on site requirements.
